Lillie-Bell’s

Over the past few years I have dreaded buying clothes.  I had put on a lot of weight and had resorted to buying clothes on the internet, getting the largest size I could, only to find them still too small and either having to send them back to the seller or handing them over to my daughter.

My friends persuaded me to join the Slimming World club they went to, and since I joined I have lost a good amount of weight, the result of which means that I can now buy clothes on the high street.

This weekend I decided I would treat myself to a new top and with trepidation I ventured into Clacton Town Centre.

I had seen Lillie-Bell’s boutique in Clacton before, but I had never gone in to see what items they had. When you get to Lillie Bell’s you are greeted with a lovely lavender coloured  store front. The shop window is beautifully dressed with a selection of the things inside. You can tell that the clothes, bags, shoes and accessories are going to be elegant and chic.

I opened the door and went in…straight away I felt there was a good atmosphere in the shop, A friendly lady stood at the counter chatting to a customer.

The clothes were hanging up around the shop in their separate colours. So straight away you can find the colour of the clothes you want. All the clothes I saw were stylish and elegant. These are definitely a much higher class of clothes.

There were beautiful handbags up on the shelves. They were all different colours, and there were lots of different designs of shoes, all the shoes were classy and in vogue.

I started to have a look at the different tops hanging up and I was told by the lady, whose name is Lynn, that all the clothes were one-size. I explained that I was worried the clothes wouldn’t fit me as I had such trouble buying clothes in the past, but Lynn reassured me that the sizes were good and that I would definitely fit into the clothes.

Now, I am used to wearing black, and I very rarely buy any other colour in clothes. Lynn said that she thought I should consider looking at a blue top as it would enhance the colour of my eyes, so she found me a few different top/scarf sets to try and I went in the changing room to put them on.

I was very pleased at how nice they looked on me. I came out of the changing room so Lynn could take a look and give me her opinion, she said that she thought they looked lovely and the colour suited me.

I was very pleased with both of the top/scarf sets and I couldn’t decide between them, so I bought them both.

I found Lillie-Bell’s prices very reasonable. The tops I bought were £18 each and they are lovely. I really feel like I am wearing good quality clothes. The design of the clothes are fantastic and you will have a very pleasant shopping experience when you go in. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and I for one will be going back.

Go and have a look in Lillie-Bell’s boutique, it’s a lovely place to get some stylish clothes, handbags, shoes and accessories, you will love them….and please….introduce yourself and make sure you tell them Karen Warbis sent you…they will know who you mean.
